About the Program
Program mission:
To provide a print production room where students are doing hands-on work designing projects, preparing files for output (negatives, separations) and printing these files.
Students will:
- Be introduced to design principles, graphic design, web design, photography, animation and video techniques.
- Learn how to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Premier.
- Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites.
- Participate in SkillsUSA competition and work in a design department environment, designing and printing projects for clients.
Potential careers:
Career examples include Advertising Manager, Multimedia Artist, Animator, Graphic Designer and Magazine Editor.
